For this quick test, I used GpuTest 0.7.0 for Mac OS X. A 256-GB SSD is fixed on the right graphics card. The internal drives on the Windows machine still test at their full speed. The Mac Pro is small: The I/O connectors include four USB 3 ports, 6 thunderbolt ports, two Gigabit-Ethernet and one HDMI 1.4 ports: The graphics cards: two FirePro D500. I cannot for the life of me fathom what has changed, everything is still enabled on the windows side, and crucially this is only for externally mounted drives. VMD: VMD (Visual Molecular Dynamics) runs on many platforms including MacOS X, and several versions of Unix and. Supports Windows, Mac OSX, Unix, and Linux.

However, I have connected again a couple of weeks later and the network speeds have dropped back down to 5-6MB/s. The software is available for Mac (OSX or PPC), Windows, Linux, or SGI: UGENE: A free and open-source tool with PDB format visualization support written in fast memory efficient C code. Get introduced with six simple steps on how to do motion tracking in Blender 2.8 on Mac devices. I ran across this page and when I enabled NetBIOS over TCP/IP this seemed to fix the issue - external drives mounted on the Win side would test at their capacity of 320MB/s when testing from the MBP. However, external drives did not work - I was getting write speeds of around 5MB/s They connected up nice and easily, and when running a test of disk speed from the MBP (with Blackmagic disk speed test) the internal drives on the Win machine tested at their full speed for around 500MB/s. If you’re having issues, the Python documentation was one of the best resources I found, and of course the help file for the python command was useful once I figured out I needed to use a command other than running the script (type man python to access it).I was trying out a direct connection between my MBP and consumer Win10 machine connected direct via thunderbolt.

Please note: I’m using OS 10.5 I believe the above will work with 10.2 (since I think that’s when Python was bundled with the OS), but your mileage will vary. Remember that if you’re using bash for your shell, you can hit tab to autocomplete paths (which speeds things up a lot) and you’ll need to escape any spaces in paths with a backslash: python ~/Documents/My\ Python\ Scripts/script.sh Obviously, replace with any options or arguments that the script accepts (or leave it off entirely). If you need to run a Python script in the Mac OS X Terminal, save the script somewhere on your hard drive and run the following command: python path/to/script (Kept getting env: python\r: No such file or directory errors whenever I tried to run the script on its own.) I’m sure this is self-evident for anyone with halfway decent knowledge of the Unix command-line, but it took me some searching through multiple sources to figure it out.
